Field Mycologist UK can email you about activity on your observations. Choose the emails you want in your settings.
Choosing Your Emails
- Click your name or avatar and select Settings.
- Scroll to Notification Settings.
- Tick the emails you’d like:
- Daily Summary (recommended): one email each morning at 9am summarising the ID suggestions, agreements and comments on your observations from the last 24 hours, and any confirmed IDs you agreed with that have been challenged.
- ID Confirmation Email: an email as soon as one of your observations is confirmed, or is no longer confirmed.
- Click Save Changes.
If you turn off the Daily Summary, you won’t be emailed about suggestions, agreements and comments, or when an ID you agreed with is challenged. You can still see them in your activity on the website and in the app.
Other Emails
You’ll also receive:
- A welcome email when you register
- Your suggestion has been confirmed! when an ID you suggested is confirmed
- Research Grade when one of your exported observations reaches Research Grade on iNaturalist
- You’re now an Identifier! if you’re promoted to Identifier
- Password reset emails when you ask for them
Without Email
You can see all your activity without email:
- Website: your Dashboard shows your recent activity.
- App: the Home tab shows recent activity, and the Activity tab on Me shows everything.
Not Getting Emails?
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Check the email address in your settings is correct.
- Check your notification settings.
- Add Field Mycologist UK to your contacts or safe senders.
Privacy
Notification emails are only sent to the address on your account. We never share your email address with other members or third parties.
