Xerocomellus chrysenteron, formerly known as Boletus chrysenteron or Xerocomus chrysenteron and commonly known as the red cracking bolete, is a species of fungus in the family Boletaceae. The small mushroom has tubes and pores instead of gills beneath their caps.
