Mycena pseudocorticola is a small mushroom species characterised by its bluish-grey or slate-grey cap, which can be hemispherical or broadly conical and may appear pleated. Some entirely white specimens with slate-grey stipes have also been observed. The cap typically measures between 2-8mm across.
